The City of Bradford is growing. It has some of the fastest underlying network infrastructure in the UK. However, Internet traffic has to go all the way down to London or across to Manchester or Leeds. In order to provide low latency and fast Internet access to the city we decided to create a brand new Internet Exchange that not only solves the Internet traffic issues but will also shine as a beacon to attract new investment and a place for businesses to relocate to.
So in 2019, IXBradford was born, and now we shine the light for Bradford!
